"T.P.R." Training for Language Teachers

Classes
Do you need
to learn to speak English, but find it too hard? It doesn't have to be that
way. We humans are designed to learn and use language - you already learned
one (Spanish) - and I know you can learn another! Most of the time, it's not
the student who fails to learn - the fault lies in instructional methods that
fail to support the student's learning. Fortunately, there are teaching methods
that allow us to learn naturally, without stress, painlessly. These methods
work for students of all ages, and although you may find it hard to believe,
they make language learning such a pleasant and motivating experience, that
students learn quickly, with a minimum of effort.
We offer English classes for children, teens and adults. Classes are limited to seven students so that all will have ample opportunity to practice and learn. The low student enrollment also creates social bonds among learners and teachers - a very important aspect of language learning.

Training for Language Teachers
The famous
language teaching method discovered by Dr. James Asher over 40 years ago is
known world wide as "TPR". When they use TPR in their classes,
language teachers find that their students learn more quickly, and more permanently.
They don't forget vocabulary; they internalize grammar and syntax without getting
confused, and with very little effort. Students who used to resist learning
discover that they CAN learn, and this is really motivating. Many language teachers
have seen improvements such as these in their students:

more confidence speaking so their oral expression improves
fewer grammar mistakes in speaking and writing leading to better written expression
improved spelling
better comprehension when listening or reading

Davis Dyslexia Correction® isn't tutoring. Some clients
find it useful after their program to use the services of a tutor for reading,
writing or mathematics, to review or acquire skills that they didn't learn well
before their Davis program.
Prolinguistica offers tutoring services separate from dyslexia correction programs.
We offer tutoring for all ages, specifically designed for students who've completed
a Davis® program.
